i was thinking of takeing a group of my teen friends with me to get the 10 ppl discount thing (if thats going to be available this year) and if they want to take part in the battleground events will they need there parents to sign a waver because we were just planning on going with one or two chaperones... and if they need to sign a waver is there anyway i can get the forms maild to me or an online printout any information on this topic would be a great help

hmm...you'll have to hear from ethos to get the real facts, but best as i recall, last year we just signed a waiver on site, and i believe you really just had to look big enough to not get hurt by the weapons to be able to play/compete. I know they were talking on the forums about how to make it more legal, such as having to be 16 or older or have parental permission or something like that, but am not quite sure what they're planning.
either way, you have like what, 9 months or something til oni-con 2008. so i'm sure when oni gets near you'll have more info.
but will our parents need to sign or just us because if our parents need to sign my group wont be able to compete :/
your parents need to be there to sighn it. thats what happened last year
hmm...i thought it was only if you were under 16...cause i wasn't 18 and didn't need my parents to sign it.
maybe, if you really do need parental permission, you could just get them to write out a note saying that you grant permission for you to compete and will not hold oni-con liable for anything. i know i've done that before when i've lost my permission slip for school stuff.
I don't know, you're really just gonna have to wait until ethos (who is in charge of the battlegrounds) gets on here again.
