Weapon's Policy Revisited

The Weapon's Policy in General Rules will be enforced tightly by Security. However there will be new additions to the policy that will address issues that were not prior:

The current Weapons Policy is thus:

* Weapon Policy:
o Projectile weapons are NOT allowed, this includes individuals that possess a weapons permit or concealed weapons permit. Keep your guns at home.
o No bladed items (swords, knives) are allowed.
o Weapons should not be brandished at any time other than posing for pictures.
o After purchasing a weapon (i.e.: sword) from the Dealers Room, immediately bring it to your room.
o A good rule of thumb, if we can't tell it's a fake from 10 feet away, don't bring it.
o Please consult con security if you have any questions about specific items at

In addition to these rules there will be:

o All cosplay props and weapons will be checked at the security desk.
o No swinging, play fighting (includes unarmed combat), or throwing of cosplay props or weapons.
o If you have to ask yourself: "Will I get in trouble?" or think that you'll get in trouble then don't do it. You can always ask though.
