Many of you are looking forward to the dances and I'm sure plenty of you have been to conventions where Doc has been in charge of security. Nothing has changed from that. But to those who don't know these are for you. Again if you see someone in violation of these rules, politely tell them that they're wrong. Help your fellow convention attendees!
o No bags larger than a hand bag is allowed. This is to include: Laptop bags, back packs, duffle bags, and messenger bags.
o Nothing attached to strings that can be swung are allowed.
o No cosplay props or weapons are allowed into the dance area.
o Security will not watch your belongings for you. No exceptions.
o No lightsabers. (See: No cosplay props or weapons...)
o Be fully clothed the entire time. Shirts, shoes, and pants stay on.
o If you have history of seizures, asthma, or heart attack DO NOT come to the dance. The heat and flashing lights can trigger attacks.
o Drink plenty of water before and during the dance. Remember to stay hydrated! You will feel much better than those who don't.
