missed us at the con...?
think of this as the what are selling thread after con version
post your contact info and what you sold.

k, i know we ran out of panda hats and sock moogles/moogle plushies and many people who wanted one didn't get one(sorry). so if anyone wants to get one of those email me at . we going to make a new batch of hats and sock moogles in the next week or so.
I sold off my four truffle snail prints but none of the others, about 6 of the bookmarks, 10 stickers I think, and quite a few pre-drawn colored and black and white pictures (though one person who was a friend was the one that bought like, three at once). Surprisingly, I didn't get as many requests as I anticipated. Also, someone asked me to color something, paid me, then never picked it up. If you see this, sorry, but I waited until after the dealers room had closed on sunday and sold it to someone that wanted it.
My snail sculpture things were going awesome until the painting phase so I didn't get to sell any--sorry for anyone that was looking forward to them (I know some asked). Hey, I saw you guys' tables at the con! :D I would have stopped to say hello and shop, but my friends were being annoying and didn't feel like stopping and waiting for me XD;.
Anyway, I sold in the art auction and sold 2 prints :). 71$ total, yay! Two people also bid on two others....but never came and picked them up or paid ;__;. I have their contact info....so I guess I'll call them sometime and see if they still want them.
IF ANYONE FROM THE CON READING THIS BID ON A ROXAS PICTURE OR A PICTURE OF FOUR PHOENIXES (birds) of the elements, please please email me (kalico@gmail.com) so we can work something out :D.
I hate to have to say this next paragraph, but I feel that I must. It's a small complaint:
I really felt that I could've sold so much more from the auction (I had 10 pieces that I really thought would appeal), but no one knew about it. So, barely anyone seemed to go to it or the live auction D:. I couldn't even find it for a while when I had to hang up my art, since it was in the furthest room away.
I was one of the lucky ones, though, as some people, I noticed, didn't sell anything!! I mean, out of 6000 people with lots of spending money, there would have to be potential buyers in there somewhere. :\
So, I have a suggestion for whichever staff member might read this: next year, the art show/auction should be advertised a lot more and should be in a MUCH better location, one with lots of traffic :(.
I think I'll be writing an email later :).
I hate to have to sound complainy about what was an almost PERFECT weekend, but I know that if I don't mention it, then no one will know that there was anything wrong (except the other art show people, I guess) and nothing will get changed XD;.
But overall, I loved my first ever convention n__n. I'll definitely be coming next year, and maybe I'll even go for the artist alley!

Maybe like..a room super close to the artist alley would be nice, lol. Cuz I'd go to the art auctions if I had any idea where or when they were >_< I didn't know there was one.
i sold alot of my art prints and 2 out of 4 of my jewelry boxes. i didn't feel like selling anything sunday tho so thats why i packed up early. my geisha prints were popular and people asked me if i did portraits or commissions. sadly i didn't, i would've been banking if i did. I'll make sure to do that at a-kon (cuz i really want a table there!)
I was lookin for ure table but i couldnt find u. I wanted to buy a jewlery box. Maybe next con.

Also I'm gonna be attending Ikkicon in Austin during Feburary, is anyone else going to that?
I remember Bushido saying he'd go there to volunteer. You know, the guy that bought the one and only custom snail bookmark that you made for him.
