If you live in the Huntsville area and/or go to school at Sam Houston State, check us out!

Anime Society Meetings are every Thursday from 6 PM to 9 PM in Dan Rather Building Room #320.

Cosplay Club Meetings are every Wednesday from 7 PM to 10 PM in Dan Rather Building Room #312

We may be moving to bigger rooms, but for now, we're just all crammed in there.

Glad to see it alive and well!

Hi,

I'm assuming you're running the show with SHAS now!

BTW, I'm Alan Wright. I was a member of SHAS in its early days (joined about a year after it formed) when I went to school at Sam. Served as VP in Fall 1999 and Pres. in Spring 2000.

I saw the newly-revamped website; great job! It's about time it was updated; had been neglected for quite a while (although I do understand; life and schoolwork do tend to get in the way of our passion...sigh).

It's too bad, though, the department won't let you use the A-V facilities in the basement of Dan Rather (Rm. 125 if memory serves). I remember shortly after I left something about the department head forbade any organization from using it because another organization (NOT SHAS) screwed up some of the equipment and they spoiled it for everyone.

Rm. 320....I remember it well. With its dinky little TV. Ah well...better than nothing, I suppose.

Anyway, gotta run. Looks like the SHAS is alive and thriving. Keep it up! Take care!
