Did anyone ever see a DDR machine? All I saw was stepmania and ITG, but no DDR. No EB games for that matter, I constantly went upstairs to see if they were there yet and never saw anything in that room.
Yes Eb Games and activision were there Saturday from about 11am-5pm. They also held the SSBM tourny. Next year both Activision, Roxor and EB have expresied interest in a larger appearence. The In the Groove 2 I found out Friday was not able to make it in due to Shipping issues. However I have been promised they will be sure to bring one next year.
Last year the DDR was brought in by another person for .50 a play. Plus truthfully with the Plug issue I am not sure how much more I could have plugged in without Blowing a fuse. The wiring appeared to be from the late 50's :wacko1:
But we also had the Guitar Hero Demo going on as well.
i was first in line when they said "pack up guitar hero after this game"...I wanted to play that so bad. I never had any intention to play DDR though, i've never passed a song on anything but easy
I was very happy that ITG was there! I've been playing it since I bought it after I played it at a Blazer Tag in Austin during the Rita evacuation. I did ok on Med, i knew most of the songs, but some people I saw were awesome. Like that kid who dressed up as Tousen from Bleach and the guys running it too. It would have been nice if people didn't keep jumpin in front of me but hey it happens.
I almost picked up one of those cabs you have to move your hands in the middle and your feet and legs at the bottom. forgot what it was called. however it was getting late and I didn't feel like hanging around.
I may be able to get a DDR from a friend of mine but no promises. if not I guess I an always pick up some of the metal pads at frys and setup a TV, it depends how much extra $$ i have.
EB Games was there on Saturday only unfortunately. They've promised to come back bigger and better next year though!
As for DDR machines, we weren't able to get them. We were supposed to have an In the Groove machine, but that fell through at the last minute.

Well maybe. I have not talked with Red Octane yet this year but if ITG is not there then maybe I well see about a DDR setup.
ITG was so much fun last year! Hope you can get either one ^_^
*crosses fingers
