Well I've got craptacular news.
My ride, once again, has fecked me over hard.
As of right now, I have no ride, so if anyone is willing to drive me and two others, that would be awesome. I'm willing to pay gas, as I cannot afford any other type of transportation.
If not, I hope you all have a wonderful con, and I'll hopefully see you at ZDA.
Why don't you steal a car? Or better yet, carjack someone.
GTA style!!!!!!!!!! XDD...
You know what people.... this isn't something to joke over... I'm sure it's a serious thing for silentA.
It might be a good idea to state where you live, when you want to leave etc.
If you live in the bigger cities, you might even try greyhound. I have a ride, so if you
somehow magically live near me, I might ask him about it.
XD; You know that's some good information that I SHOULD have provided. But when I had posted that post I was a little bit... upset. So I wasn't thinking so straight SO!
Well, one, concerning the greyhound, I did look into it. I do have the 41.50 to cover the entire ride, however, getting from the greyhound station to the convention center may prove as difficult, as I've never been up to houston and don't know if there's free shuttles from the station to a particular hotel or however it works. So yeah.
Anywho.
I live in Round Rock. I can't meet up about anywhere in the Round Rock/Austin area.
I'm trying to leave Round Rock around 1 or so on Thursday (however, I can leave friday if the need be, I will just have to contact Sven to let him know that and HOPE not to get my ear chewed off... lol), getting to houston between 5 and 6 for a meeting; as I'm working in security.
Please Help.
Drop me a line @
Our useless Lightrail actually goes by the greyhound station. and Although it will not take you to the GRB it will take you downtown. it would be about a 5 block walk. the greyhound station is fairly close to the downtown.
oooh walking at night in a town i don't know. sounds like fun.
sorry, didn't mean to sound like a b*tch there, but, i fear for my life when i have to walk around a place i don't know.
and I suck with trying to read directions, or finding somewhere. XD;;
I nearly lost my hotel at 5 in the morning during realmscon. HARHAR.
Did'nt know you would be coming in at night. In that case night time at the greyhound station is the worst place to be in Houston :)
yah, that's what i figured. x.x;
if you come in through the greyhound i can be of some assistance and wait for you at the station plus go with you to the convention. I'm usse to walking around downtown at night and some metro buses still run at night. just let me know all the info about what time you will be comming in.
I'll see what happens, apparently, I may be getting a ride with another security friend of mine that tottally slipped my mind.
