I'm flying for Onicon and this is my first year reserving a hotel. So I have no idea what you need and whatnot
For the deposit, will that be deducted from the total when you go check in? Also is there a way we can pay when we first check in or do we have to wait until we checkout? Lastly what else beside an I.D is needed to check in?

Every hotel will ask for I.D. and a credit card. All transactions will be finalized upon check out so don't spend all your money if you're on a budget. Be sure to have enough for the hotel -- that's including tax, surprise room service charges if you have other people in the room, and surprise movie charges for the same reason. For 2 nights at 118 you'll be likely to shell out about 400 bucks (A figure given just to be on the safe side). You still have to pay for parking and it's cash only.
