So yeah, I suggest you getting in line for that about an hour or two before it begins. Judging by the audience that Oni-Con's musical guests tend to for the most part, I suggest you do so, or you won't get a good seat and etc.

Q&A: RENTRER EN SOI

It's RIGHT AFTER their concert. So whenever the concert ends, be very attentive time-wise as to when the Q&A will be.

well on the jhouserock schedule it says the QandA is gonna be on saturday...
but it doesnt have a time.
so i dunno. maybe that means the concert is gonna end at like midnight and they are gonna do it right afterwards XD

and I HAVE A QUESTION
"Come have your picture taken with the band and/or get them to autograph your RENTRER EN SOI merchandise. Photo passes are $5 in advance or $6 on the day of the event. (Please do not bring your camera, a polaroid camera will be on hand for the event as well as plenty of RENTRER EN SOI merchandise that they you can have them sign.)"

on the Jhouserock events page it says its FREE "with the purchase of variousRentrer en Soi items that will be available at the convention"

Meaning the word "Free" is used to express that you will not be charged for a Photo if you buy stuff at their booth in the dealers room. But we'll see about that.

well yea I get that its free with a purchase of a cd or whatever.
but whats with the Photo passes then?
because i doubt they would consider a photo pass as "band merchandise" right?

Well if the photo pass gets you a photo with the band. Then why wouldn't it be "band merchandise?"

Here's how JHouseRock does things at the autograph session:

Everyone lines up and it's about go time. They'll set up a table with various items like t-shirts, stickers, and CD's as you walk toward the band. You will pass the table so that you have to buy a CD, T-shirt, or sticker which makes sure you have something for the band to sign or have purchased something recently to support the band. No they won't sign your badge, the shirt you're wearing, or anything like that. It has to specifically be band merchandise that they can easily sign and send you on your way. This is to keep the line flowing and ensures that everyone has the opportunity to get an autograph from the band.

The picture pass will be sold in much the same way as the other merchandise. But this particular piece of merchandise will get you a Polaroid with the band which they can all sign. You can buy this at the table at the autograph session OR at the JHouseRock booth in the dealer's room from my understanding.

Now for those of you who don't want to pay an arm and a leg for an autograph. Expect to spend some money anyway. If you like the band and want to show your support the best way is to buy their CD. If you don't have the money for it, then buy something cheaper but large enough for all of them to sign. What I usually do is buy a CD in advance, take it to the autograph session, purchase some cheap 5 dollar item off the table, and then get my CD signed. The last JHouseRock autograph session I went to was with Do As Infinity and Psycho Le Cemu (Years ago now) but I doubt they've changed how they do business.
