Heads up! Website in the Works
An Oni-Con Battlegrounds website is in the works. We will host all of the information you could possibly need there including class types, match types, weapon information and tactics. We will also put up tutorials on weapon construction and tips to ensure your custom weapons get approved.
We may even eventually host our player listing on the website with your current progress through the ranks and possibly other information as well like win/loss ratios. (Though this may obviously be difficult to implement.)
We'll see- but for sure, a site is in the works for your viewing and information gathering pleasure!
We will post more information here as we acquire it and eventually the link itself. Feel free to post ideas and suggestions about what you'd like to see on the site here as well!

sounds good. cant wait till next year also later i will have questions about weapons i am making for next year and was also wondering if you could give me the basic specs on the current weapons including the marshal weapons. thanks again and i will deff see you guys next year
Yup, one of the things we will be adding to the site is an in-depth how to guide for making all sorts of weapons along with some basic tactics on how to use them for new players. We are hoping to make it a strong point of reference for anyone's questions regarding anything in and around the battlegrounds.
Alrighty, I've been talked into releasing the beta for the website. This is just the basic shell with information. Keep in mind there is a lot to be added so keep discussion centered around the content that is already there for the moment. We know a lot is missing, we just haven't been able to add it yet, nor have it's visuals been worked on yet. Key words are: Bare Bones.

wow that was quick! it looks great, very clear...you seem to have covered all the bases and ahve most of the info up already. great job!
Actually 90% of the work is thanks to Hojo, our Marshal shield maker, he did an amazing job with it, I've just been tinkering and editing it so major props to him. A lot of work still to go though.
everything looks great. only very minor suggestions as to the content. basic info on weapon creation, under elbows. if it is used at all what kind of glue or anything like that. under class the rank 7 warrior "Can dual wield any of the Champion weapons together except dagger and can use staff." i would state it as "Can dual wield any of the Champion weapons together except dagger and can now weild the staff." (though im sure that im just be being dumb, but i know their is one person out their who would try to use the staff and another weapon together >_<). and the last thing i could think of .... i hate to even say this (because i would hate to have to do it my self ) but you might try to dummy down the "Feared" by rank 7 spartian, i hate to say it but their are alot of people who wouldnt understand with out an other explanation of it. i hope im not being to ... picky about this but thoes are just my thoughts on it. otehr then that it looks great and i cant wait untill the rest of it is up

Nope, these are exactly the kind of suggestions we are looking for, and some of the ones you mentioned are already intended to be worked on- so well done!
I'll make some changes tonight, first chance I get and we'll see how that goes.
ok, heh for a little while their i was saying to myself "damn it im being to presice and over analyzing what he said" lol well if i see anything else that catches my eye ill be sure and let you know. in the mean time good job and keep up the great work =D
maybe you could add a history/influences section so people would know how it came about or what other kind of activities would be similar for those who would like to get into those things or something...
also, what about adding that game (i guess its like "guard the queen") where you try to stab the other team's player w/ the flag and dagger, while keeping your own safe, or the football game (if that actually worked or not, i'm not sure, as i don't even really get real football ^^)
also, if we get more pictures, you could have a pics section with a place for each year so people can see how it progresses.
