Big Bruno's Quick trip to Malaysia

Big Bruno's Quick trip to Malaysia

Just got back from Kaula Lapur,

This was a business trip so I did not have much time to sightsee, rarely only a few hours each night I was there. The Flight was long and as usual getting through LAX was a chore, even flying Business class. One of the highlights though is we stoped in Tapei, Taiwan to change planes so I was able to look around for awhile. With the US dollar as it is though there were really no deals, I did manage to pick up some nice local crafts though (I picked up a chinese Zodiac Ram since that is the year animal I fall on). on Arrival I called my friend who lives in Malaysia, we were able to get together after the work day and check out some local places and eat at some local restraunts. One thing though the malls there are HUGH. we went to one Mall that was 4 levels deep. there is another one apperently that is 7 levels and makes the Gallery look like a shoping strip Smiling In talking with my friend he told me with the cost of energy being so high most Malaysians will go to the mall to stay out of the heat (think houston only hotter). I caught a movie while i was over there (street king), Since Malaysia is a musilim country they edit the movies and tv heavly. the movie was rated 18+ there and most all the curse words and skin scenes were edited out or silenced. In the opening scene where Kanue reeves is selling a machine gun from his trunk to some Koreans there is alot of curse words flying around. then scene was so heavly edited you would literly be watching a scene and it would jump ahead at times.

The arcades there are hugh to, not as big as japan but big none the less. the one I say must have had over 100+ games in there with half of them being deluxes (shooters, drivers, dance) although not to many of the new fighters mostly new on the shooters, gun games and drivers)

I get to go back later for a longer period so I am hoping to take some vacation time so I can look around a bit more and maybe make some side trips or extended stays at some of the places I pass through.
