Is my friend's pass legit?
My friend says he is going to buy a pass from his friend at school (whom he says is a staff member at oni-con), and that when he gives her the money, she will give it to him. It sounds fishy to me, do staff members (Most likely she is lying or a volunteer) really do that?

I wouldn't trust her IMO. I dunno how she can even get the badges, since the head of registration has the badges in his possession.
He should honestly just go and get his badge when he's there.

I can just bypass the grb and go through the hilton? Is that the main way?
EDIT: And how do I go through the Hilton?
I don't understand the question. You can go to the Hilton without ever crossing the sky bridge to the GRB - if that is what you mean.
Sorry, what I want to know is how to get to the registration on friday. I have been told to go through the hilton even though I am not staying there, and I would like maybe a vague guidline of how to get to the registration. Again, I am sorry for being so inept.
you go into the Hilton...
go to the 2nd or 3rd floor to cross the skybridge...
then you should find the registration...
the GRB's doors on the 1st are usually kept lock, so you can't waltz right into it...
