i heard from some people that you are able to pick up pre-reg. badges the day before the con (thursday). can we do that? or will we have to pick them up on friday?
You just need to know your transaction number, or you can print out proof of your transaction by logging in and going to (I think its) My Account. Also bring ID. Regarding group badges, whoever bought the badges will have to pick them up.
There should be badge pick up on Thursday, but I think it will be in the hotel near the sky bridge. Have to pester Leion about that.
From going to Oni-Con and several other cons, there's always a Day 0 (Thursday in this case), in which you can arrive early and get that. But going into the GRB itself is off-limits to attendees. Volunteers and the Oni staff are permitted respectively, since everything is being set-up (Vendors, Artists, Main Events, etc.).
I am talking to the Hilton about having a table set up for prereg badge pick up on Thursday. There will be one, I just need confirmation on where it will be located in the hotel. Once I know for sure, I will have a news post put up about it. Should have confirmation by tomorrow.
