Handheld Tournaments

Putting together some ideas for next year.

So what would be some good handheld tournments

Mario Carts DS comes to mind but what others would you like to see. Mainly PSP and DS titles. Setting up DS tournaments seems fairly easy since eveyone can download off of one game if I am not mistaken. not sure on the PSP since I have not set one up. however what other games would be good tournament titles

SNK vs Capcom Card clash DS
Pokemon
Bomberman
any fighters
etc, etc

Let me know what you think. I plan on having two at least for next year.

I have seen that Import version but of course the DS is region free. I seen best buy and frys carry it.

is that any good? what type of game is it?

Not to mention it stars quite a list of Jump characters ranging as far as Hokuto No Ken to One Piece.

Yes, Jump is the greatest game for the DS hands down. How many people who are attending own a copy though, the last two cons I went to I brought my DS and was hyped only to find two people playing the game. We need to make sure a tourny will go down with lots of promising competitors.

That'd be Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan, Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2, and Jump Ultimate Stars for those that don't read and/or support Japanese text on their PCs. XD

I could see Ouendan 1/2 being played in a tournament, score-wise and such.

Hey I just picked up the 2 rythm games when i went to japan recently(if that is the one like Elite Beat Agent) or elite beat agent is like them :)

Yeah, that'd be Ouendan 1/2, respectively. iNiS created Ouendan first, since improvements were made and observed once I started playing EBA.

The here's the timeline, in order of which was created first.

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan (2005)

Elite Beat Agents (2006)

Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 (2007)

There was an event in Japan with the DS Download Stations that allowed you to download the Elite Beat Agents onto Ouendan 2.
