Oni-Con Press Rules

Oni-Con welcomes members of the press who wish to cover Houston's
Original Anime Convention. Press passes will allow media members nearly
unrestricted access to the convention. This includes access to:

Concerts
Contests
Cosplay
Dealers' Room
Gaming Rooms
Main Event Rooms
Panel Rooms
Viewing Rooms

Please note, access to concerts and other events involving the bands may be restricted due to agreements with the band's management. We will do our best to keep your informed of this beforehand.

To be recognized as press, you must be (1) regularly published, and (2) advertiser or subscriber financial supported. In order to be approved, we'll need an email from you with the following information:

Your name
Your media company
Your company's website
Your title (along with proof of employment)

Also, in cases where there might be a question of legitimacy, we may ask for a copy of recently published articles, links or reviews of your media, or a letter from your publisher or editor assigning you to cover Oni-Con.

If you are in doubt as to whether or not you qualify as media, feel free to email and ask. Be sure to include as much information as possible and your reasons why you believe you should be granted a press pass.

Oni-Con reserves the right to deny or limit the number of issued passes to any individual or organization for any reason, such as not supplying proper credentials and failure to register in a timely manner. Press passes are issued to specific individuals and are non-transferable.
