any item defined as a weapon, illegal or not (please see our weapons
    policy for more information).
  • Con staff, guests and attendees may not bring any animals onto
the premises, with the exception of ADA working animals.
  • Badges must be worn and be visible at all times.
  • Do not leave your bags unattended.
  • Bare feet are prohibited in any public area for your safety.
    Cosplayers may wear lyricals.
  • Oni-Con reserves the right to deem a costume as unacceptable
and request that the wearer make modifications or change. This is a
family friendly event; please use common sense and good taste.
  • You must be 21 to consume alcohol, and must do so in designated
areas only. Please remember, don't drink and drive.
  • Oni-Con will not tolerate any use of illegal drugs or paraphernalia
at the convention or in hotel rooms. Any usage or possession of
these items will result in immediate expulsion from the convention
and the authorities will be contacted.
  • Flyers may be placed only in designated areas.
  • Oni-Con, its staff and its affiliates are not responsible for
any loss, damage, theft, or injury. Attendees are responsible
    for their individual actions.
  • Minors under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or chaperone who is a registered attendee of Oni-Con, at all times.
  • Minors age 13-17 must have a parent, guardian, or chaperone on the hotel

    other public/function areas.
  • All video recorders and cameras will be strictly prohibited
within the Art Show, Theater/Video Rooms and Anime Music Video
    Contest
  • The use of non-cosplay signs (i.e: 50 cents for a kiss/hug,
glomp me) will not be permitted. Signs for cosplay use(a sign
that is a part of the costume itself) will be allowed. The staff
has the right to say that a sign cannot be used and it will need
to be put away or will be confiscated.
  • Weapon Policy:
    • Projectile weapons are NOT allowed, this includes individuals
that possess a weapons permit or concealed weapons permit.
    • No bladed items (swords, knives, etc.) are allowed.
    • Weapons should not be brandished at any time other than
      posing for pictures.
    • After purchasing a weapon (i.e.: sword) from the Dealers
Room, immediately bring it to your room.
    • A good rule of thumb, if we can't tell it's
a fake from 10 feet away, don't bring it.
    • Please consult con security if you have any questions about
      specific items here.
  • Oni-Con reserves the right to revoke your convention membership
and eject anyone at anytime from the convention without a refund.
  • We do not allow refunds. If you are not able to attend you may
transfer your badge to another con attendee. No badge transfers
are allowed after pre-registration is over.
  • If you pre-registered then signed up as a volunteer, please
discuss this with the Head of Registration, when you
    get to the convention
